SUMMARY:1776!
DESCRIPTION:Music and Lyrics by Sherman EdwardsBook by Peter Stone \n\n\n\nDirected by Leslie Gates \n\n\n\nJune 12-14\, 18-21\, 26-28Von Braun Center Playhouse\, 700 Monroe St\, Huntsville\, AL 35801Tickets $30-32\, group rates availablehttp://www.THTix.com or 256-536-0807 \n\n\n\nOne bold act can change the course of history. The fight for independence has never been more thrilling than in 1776! This Tony Award-winning musical brings history to life with sharp wit\, stirring songs\, and a behind-the-scenes look at the passionate (and often chaotic) debates that led to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. John Adams\, Benjamin Franklin\, and Thomas Jefferson battle deadlines\, doubts\, and each other in a race to forge a nation—proving that revolution is anything but easy.
