The Ballyhoo Festival of Fine Art and Culture will celebrate its 12 year in March. Over 110 juried artists will have displays and will be given judge for $6,000 in cash prize This festival celebrates indigenous heritage and early Americana Appalachian music in the form of a Fiddle and Banjo Competition with $4,000 in awards, fostering cultural exchange through performances, workshops, and art displays. Set against the backdrop of Alabama’s stunning Gulf Coast, it highlights Native American traditions alongside folk and bluegrass music, creating a unique blend of history and artistry. Ballyhoo Festival highlights over 100 artists and the diverse roots of American culture, honoring indigenous and early musical traditions foundational to our nation’s identity.
