This July, the stars align in Downtown Elba for a celebration that’s 250 years in the making! Join the City of Elba and the Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, July 2nd, as we launch something truly spectacular: Elba’s Star-Spangled Stellar Legacy. This year, we are honoring the national America 250 AL Semiquincentennial. The evening kicks off at 7:00 PM with a high-octane performance by American Idol standout and Wiregrass native Crews Wright, bringing his authentic country sound to the heart of the Historic Courthouse Square in Elba. We’ll cap off this historic night with our most ambitious fireworks display yet—a “Stellar” show choreographed in brilliant red, white, and blue to light up our past and our future. It’s free, so grab your lawn chairs and your American Alabama hometown pride; history is happening in Elba!
