Mule Day / Chickenfest is a beloved annual street festival, taking place in downtown Gordo during the first weekend of June each year. The festivities kick off on Friday evening and continue until Saturday afternoon. This vibrant event offers a wide array of attractions, including live entertainment, delectable food trucks, an enticing variety of street vendors, engaging children’s games and activities, delightful homemade ice cream, and an invigorating 5k Run! On each Saturday of the festival, an enchanting parade unfolds, featuring horses, mule-drawn wagons, antique cars, and tractors.
