Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Oneonta!
Join us for an unforgettable 4th of July Celebration filled with family fun, community spirit, and patriotic pride!
We’re kicking off the festivities with an exciting Fire vs. Police Kickball Game, followed by our Patriotic Wagon Parade showcasing creative red, white, and blue spirit throughout the ball fields. First, Second and Third Place Medals will be given for the best decorated wagon!

delicious food vendors, and large yard games for all ages throughout the evening and you don’t want to miss The Hot Dog Eating Contest (sponsored by Duane Tolbert- State Farm & Team Nancy and Shannon with EXP Realty) featuring local nonprofit organizations competing for bragging rights and a donation made to their non profit!
As the sun goes down, gather with family and friends as we light up the night sky with a spectacular fireworks show to end the celebration in true patriotic fashion.
