Flag Sojourn 250

Flag Sojourn 250 is taking a single American flag to every U.S. state, every U.S. territory, and every U.S. military cemetery overseas. The journey wraps up as it touches the states of the 13 original colonies—and concludes in Washington, DC. A key partner in Flag Sojourn 250 is the National Sheriffs’ Association.

This flag visited the Alabama State Capitol in Montgomery on November 24, where it was presented by the Montgomery Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard on the south lawn, in front of the Law Enforcement Memorial.

Alabama Sheriffs Association Executive Director Sheriff (Ret.) Hoss Mack, Montgomery County Sheriff Derrick Cunningham, and members of America250 Alabama participated in the presentation.
